We use them everywhere, everyday and they are powerful! So join us and have fun using words while learning to make them work for us in both creative and constructive ways.

Do you have a bookworm? Emerging writer? Student who loves words, do they crave new words and phrases? They will love word camp? In addition to working on creative ways to use words everyday we will be playing Scrabble, Upwards, Boggle, and even Charades to help create images and words in mind-stretching ways.

Words are so important to everyday success and we designed this camp to make having fun using words, expanding vocabulary, creating images and characters and then using them to win challenges, and socialize.

The educational benefits of this camp include: expanded vocabulary, writing, technology and typing skills, storylines, conceptualization, themes, better command of Microsoft Word and Publisher and other computer programs including CS3, socialization and much more.

We will be playing games using words, using new words to write, creating outrageous sentences, characters and images with words and then creating stories and comic books that utilize the strength of the words we have been leaning to create new worlds, stories, essays and more.
