The thought of putting your child in college early can be a frightening experience for some parents, but the advantages, especially for gifted children, can be many.
The following links contain an assortment of useful information. Please enjoy!
Setting up the ACT, SAT, PLAN, or PSAT can be a confusing chore if you have never done it before. Be aware that most have a questionnaire at the beginning that needs to be set up by your teenager and can take as long as an hour.
If your child is stronger in Math and Science, the SAT or PSAT test is better for them to take. If your teen is stronger in Reading and the Humanities, then we recommend the ACT or PLAN.
These tests can be scheduled year round in your area at the following websites:

Any score over a 21 on the ACT and anything over 1000 on the SAT (without the written section) is a good score. The written section is new this year and should add a minimum of 500 points on the SAT.
If you are interested in how these scores compare to the scores of other high schools in the Indianapolis area the annual ranking of the cities public and private high schools, check out The Indianapolis Monthly annual report card on the city's schools.
